The news is out, GoldRush is officially returning to Chandler this September, and 2025’s lineup is shaping up to be one for the books. Taking over Chandler on September 12 & 13, Arizona's iconic EDM festival is back with a massive lineup that blends legendary names with fresh talent, promising a weekend packed with unforgettable sets and nonstop energy. From bass-heavy bangers, techno beats, or (my favorite) house-fueled grooves, expect to be dancing all night long. After spending the last year entrenched in Australia’s awesome EDM scene, I didn’t expect to be this hyped about a lineup back home. However, GoldRush is bringing serious heat with a killer mix of artists and is one of the can’t-miss festivals this year.
If you’re planning to go to Goldrush, you're making the right decision, but don’t just stick to the headliners. I’ve put together a guide of my top 10 picks, featuring some of the most underrated and must-see artists from this year’s lineup to help you get the full GoldRush experience. There are plenty of less popular artists who deserve all the hype of the headliners, so make sure to keep my recommendations in mind when you (inevitably) buy tickets. So lace up those boots, stay hydrated, and let’s dive into the DJs you need to catch at GoldRush 2025.

HI-LO
Genre: Techno
Track Recommendations: Orion, Paradise, The Orange Theme
To start, I cannot explain how riveting HI-LO's music is. As someone who does not usually listen to techno, I started DJing techno because of his song Orion. This man is unbelievably talented and creates the most beautiful soundscapes in his songs, which even a non-techno fan can appreciate. HI-LO is not an unknown artist- he's headlined at events like EDC, Tomorrowland, and Dockyards. He's received support from some of the biggest artists in the game, like Anyma, Oliver Heldens, and Carl Cox as well. This guy is no joke in the music scene, but is not as popular in the States due to the (relative) absence of the techno scene here. I feel unbelievably lucky that someone with this much talent is coming to Arizona, so do me a favor and go to his set too.
Wax Motif
Genre: House
Track Recommendations: Issa Vibe, Keep Raving, See in Color
Wax Motif is easily one of the most underrated names on this lineup. Hailing from Australia, Wax has built a reputation as a pioneer of the G-house and bass house scenes, blending deep grooves with hip-hop influences and heavy low-end. Wax Motif brings a classic house style to the stage, mixing it up by layering house beats with trap-inspired percussion or even touches of U.K. drill and DnB. With co-signs from legends like Tchami, AC Slater, and Diplo, and collaborations across a wide range of genres, he's solidified his place as an icon in the house music scene. Trust me, you never want to miss an Australian House DJ; they just do it right.
LF SYSTEM
Genre: Disco House/Nu Disco
Track Recommendations: Afraid to Feel, All I've Got, Big Sax
LF SYSTEM is a breath of fresh air in the house scene, bringing disco back in a way that feels both nostalgic and new. This Scottish duo exploded with their breakout hit Afraid to Feel, and they’ve been riding that momentum with a consistently funky, high-energy sound that’s impossible not to dance to. Their music is a perfect blend of vintage soul samples, crisp house production, and infectious baselines. LF SYSTEM is one of the most iconic upcoming modern DJs (in my opinion), even collaborating with DJs like Dom Dolla, Carl Cox, and more. If you're a fan of artists like Purple Disco Machine, Never Dull, or Folamour, you need to be there. Their set will be a high-energy experience you won't want to miss.
DISCO LINES
Genre: House
Track Recommendations: Swim, FEEL IT, F*ck It Up
Speaking from experience, Disco Lines is amazing live. Their energy is some of the best I've seen at any DJ set. Disco Lines' sound is the embodiment of summer and fun, and his sets recreate just that vibe. With Disco Lines' classic (psychedelic) house sound and genre-bending, you'll easily be dancing with him and the whole crowd. Although I say Disco Lines is classic house, he somehow creates a genre that defies and stays within that genre- I'd recommend going to his set or listening to his music to find out what I mean. While their track No Broke Boys and Techno + Tequila have recently blown up on TikTok, there’s plenty more great music from them that carries the same infectious energy as well. Check out my recommendations above!
Getter
Genre: Dark Trap/Heavy Dubstep/DNB
Track Recommendations: Magazine, Hack Slash, Born 2 Stunt
Getter is one of the most innovative producers in the heavy bass scene, constantly pushing boundaries with a sound that blends dark trap, dubstep, and hip-hop with eerie atmospheres and experimental production. Getter’s roots in SoundCloud-era bass music run deep, but he's evolved way beyond that. Getter has collaborations with iconic dark trap artists like $uicideboy$, Ghostmane, SXMPRA, and other iconic artists like Joji and Mike Posner. He also runs his label and has an amazing side project I've been listening to for years, Terror Reid. While he may not be typical EDM sounding, he's a standout in this lineup, and an essential one to see live. He pulls from multiple subcultures and sound palettes, creating a vibe that’s both underground and high-energy. If you're into dark trap or experimental bass, or even just looking to experience something different at this fest, Getter’s set will deliver.
ChaseWest
Genre: Disco House
Track Recommendations: GLORY, SWEETH3ART, Botega Vendeta
ChaseWest is one of the most exciting up-and-coming artists on this lineup, and easily one of the most underrated, coming in with about 100k monthly listeners. His sound blends disco house with minimal, groove-driven beats and crisp, well-chosen samples, creating a vibe that feels effortlessly cool and endlessly danceable. He uses a lot of sampling and is great if you love artists like PAWSA, Westend, or Nautik. But he’s not just following trends and following in these artists' footsteps; his tracks carve out a distinct sound that balances laid-back rhythm with undeniable club energy. Chase West may blow up within the next couple of years (in my opinion), so secure your place in seeing him at the start of his career while you can!
ZEDS DEAD B2B ILLENIUM
Genre: Dubstep/House
Track Recommendations: In My Arms - KREAM REMIX (ILLINIUM), One Three Nine (Zeds Dead), Sweet Memories (Zeds Dead)
This list could not be complete without Zeds Dead. I'm super excited to see them perform with Illinium as well! Zeds Dead and Illenium will combine their tastes to make an electric back-to-back performance. This will be the highlight of the festival, next to Wax Motif, for me. Both of them are iconic classic house artists (with Zeds having a Dubstep focus sometimes,) so this set will be insanely popular. The stage will be packed for this set, so make sure to arrive early and bring your best vibes with you!
Eliminate
Genre: Cyber Trap/Dubstep/Hybrid Trap
Track Recommendations: SMSOU, Turn it Up, Surface
Eliminate has an amazing discography filled with diverse songs! While I'm not usually a fan of Dubstep, the way that Eliminate produces is insane. Eliminate’s production is calculated, sharp, and always hits with maximum impact. He genre hops within his songs, ranging from dubstep, electronic dance, trap, and drum and bass. He does an amazing job at all of these genres, while remaining a unique sound that I haven't quite heard before. I think that seeing him live will be so fun, and the crowd will most likely be bringing the energy you need. The energy doesn’t dip, the visuals hit hard, and the crowd will be wild. He pulls in fans from all corners of EDM because he doesn’t play it safe. If you like Knock2, ISOxo, or any artist pushing the boundaries of bass music, you’ll want to be front and center for this one. Even if you're not usually into dubstep or trap, there's a good chance Eliminate will win you over with just how unpredictable and surprisingly clean his sound is.
BENNY BENASSI
Genre: Electro-House
Track Recommendations: Satisfaction, The Veldt Cinema - BYNX Edit, TOMA TOMA
Benny Benassi is an OG Italian DJ that we all know. He is known as the pioneer/creator of electro house. His hit Satisfaction is essential within the rise of electronic house, making him a must-see. However, it isn't only this song that carries him to this stage, but his continuous commitment to amazing stage presence and connection to the music. He's won a GRAMMY and has attended basically all the most popular music festivals. While I'm not a die-hard fan of Benny Benassi, I believe that he's such a staple to the EDM community that he will be awesome to see live.
Rinzen
Genre: Deep House/Melodic
Track Recommendations: Some Good Here, Stay, Astronauta (Hana Remix)
Rinzen brings a different kind of energy to GoldRush, one that's a little more chill, immersive, cinematic, and emotional. His music blends deep house grooves with melodic techno elements, creating a sound that feels more like a journey than just a set. Rinzen creates songs that are beautifully layered, hypnotic, and incredibly well-produced. Rinzen is the kind of artist who makes you close your eyes and just feel the music. To be real, I'm very biased towards deep house artists as a deep house DJ myself, but he's been in mixes I've listened to for years. If you like artists like Chris Luno, Ben Böhmer, or AVAION, you’ll love Rinzen. A must-see if you want a break from the high-BPM chaos and want to experience something more laid back and chill for the night.
