PhD Student @ UofA

I graduated from Indiana University in 2020 with degrees in Ethnomusicology and African American Studies, and I currently study gender identity and expression in music performance.

I primarily play tenor sax, but can also hang on trumpet. The main genres that I play are jazz, funk, pop, and brass band. Because of my experiences studying Ethnomusicology, I can find something to enjoy in pretty much any kind of music, but I most often listen to metal, hip-hop, pop, and indie.

Fun facts: I had a world record for 3 days in Mario Kart Wii and my first tattoo was of Phoebe Bridgers :)
